The UNI for Change application of the University of Liège (hereinafter, "UNI for Change") collects and processes your personal data in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679, hereinafter "GDPR") and the Law of July 30, 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
Data controller
UNI for Change is a service offered by the Green Office of the University of Liège, headquartered at Place du 20-Août, 7, 4000 Liège. The University of Liège is a public institution with two legal personalities[1] : it acts, on the one hand, as the French Community of Belgium (of which it is a decentralized body) (0807.970.507) and, on the other hand, as a decentralized and autonomous public establishment, called "le Patrimoine de l'Université de Liège" (0325.777.171). It is duly represented by its Rector.

Processing of personal data
Data processed :
Last name, first name, e-mail address, photo, school, status (student/employee), data relating to the challenges and activities.
Purposes :
- Administration and animation of the Uni4Change application ;
- Statistics
Legal basis: processing necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party (GDPR, art. 6-1, b).
Retention period: 18 months after last use.
Rights of the person concerned
As provided for in the GDPR (Art. 15 to 23), every person affected by data processing may, by proving their identity, exercise a series of rights:
- obtain, free of charge, a copy of the personal data concerning him/her processed by the Université de Liège and, where applicable, any available information on their purpose, origin and destination;
- obtain, free of charge, the rectification of any inaccurate personal data concerning him/her, as well as the completion of any incomplete data;
- obtain, subject to the conditions laid down in the regulations and free of charge, the deletion of personal data concerning him/her;
- obtain, subject to the conditions laid down by the regulations and free of charge, the limitation of the processing of personal data concerning them;
- to obtain, free of charge, the portability of personal data concerning him or her that he or she has provided to the University of Liège, i.e. to receive, free of charge, the data in a commonly used structured format, provided that the processing is based on consent or on a contract and that it is carried out using automated processes;
- object, subject to the conditions laid down in the regulations and free of charge, for reasons relating to his or her particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning him or her;
- withdraw, if necessary and free of charge, his consent to the processing of his personal data;
- lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (https://www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be, contact@apd-gba.be).
