The transition to a more sustainable way of life requires a better understanding of environmental and social challenges. The application provides a wide range of interactive teaching aids, allowing you to tackle the key themes of sustainability in a variety of formats:

Thanks to these contents, each user can enrich his or her knowledge and better understand the solutions to be implemented in his or her daily life.

Adopting sustainable habits on a daily basis

A challenge is a proposal for concrete action to establish a new habit in favor of social and environmental transition. A library of some fifty challenges is supplied with the UNI for Change app. Each establishment is free to choose the challenges it wishes to publish, modify their content and/or create new ones. A challenge consists of a title explaining the expected action, an image, a short description explaining why this action is important and what is expected to validate the challenge. Then, users can read additional scientific information on the magnitude and impact of the theme, practical tips - linked to the local context - to help them carry out the challenge, explanations of the positive impacts of the challenge and sources and resources to go further.

To encourage the adoption of more responsible behavior, UNI for Change offers a series of challenges based on different sustainability themes:

By taking up these challenges, users can gradually reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to a collective dynamic of change.

Taking concrete action for a more sustainable world

Commitment is not limited to individual actions. The app lets you discover and join in with grassroots activities organized by associations, collectives and community members.

Initiatives include

• Awareness-raising activities (conferences, screenings, practical workshops) ;
• Participative workcamps (cleaning up natural sites, planting, permaculture, etc.);
• Repair and upcycling workshops, to give a second life to everyday objects;
• Collaborative events, promoting sharing and collective commitment.

These activities enable everyone to take action and contribute, in their own way, to the social and environmental transition.

Getting involved in solidarity actions

UNI for Change also encourages commitment to the service of others through solidarity activities benefiting local and international associations.

Several forms of involvement are available:

• Skills volunteering: putting your knowledge and know-how to work on a project (communication, project management, awareness-raising, etc.);
• Volunteering in the field: taking part in concrete actions such as food aid, supporting refugees or preserving ecosystems;
• Donations: collection of school supplies, warm blankets, blood, etc

These initiatives enable users to contribute to causes close to their hearts, and strengthen solidarity within the community.

From action to collective impact

The UNI for Change application does more than raise awareness and encourage individual action. It also offers the opportunity to get involved in concrete projects, by joining an existing initiative or launching your own.

A tool to measure your impact

To help users reduce their impact, the application includes a carbon footprint calculator developed by Neo&Nea.

This tool enables users to :

• Evaluate your personal carbon footprint, taking into account different aspects of your lifestyle (mobility, food, consumption...) ;
• Challenge yourself to progressively reduce your carbon footprint;
• Track your progress and measure the effectiveness of your actions.

This calculator is an essential tool for raising awareness of your emissions and adopting appropriate solutions to reduce them.
